Myspace has established a name for itself. Begin one the leading teen sites in America, can never have all things in its favor. Created by Tom Anderson myspace has grown to be, a place not only for teens but celebrates. People such as Oprah Winfrey & even Maya Angelou , have profiles which give “Us” the Outer world the little light into their’s. Yet what comes with good, can never be exempt from bad….
Myspace has been a site that has contributed to missing children and rape victims. There are a many that put the blame on Tom. However there are others that feel, it’s a parents responsibility to know what their children are doing on the internet. With websites such as Downelink, Blackplanet, Facbook & many others. Their has to be some level of supervision, with anything giving the name "The World Wide Interent".
There are victims such as Kathleen Gardner, who was in fear for her daughter. Who was a victim of Internet bullying. However myspace does its job to try & protect. Back in 2006 myspace reported that over 200,000 profiles were removed for safety reasons. Ultimately it is left to the parents. You have to be involved in what your children are doing on computers. Safety cant just be designated to the out doors.Their dangers larking right in your home. Buttom line the sites on this thing we call "Internet" call cause some fatal dangers.
